Find out what we have been up to over the closed period.
It's safe to say our team have been very busy working on new developments and improvements from the stunning redesign of the golf course at Pearl lake to the introduction of some 'new pets' at Arrow Bank...
New Pet's at Arrow Bank
Exciting news – we have some new pets! Well, fish actually (can they be classed as pets?). We are sure you will all be delighted to hear that Jennifer’s Pool has now been stocked with Carp!
Book in for Fishing
You will need to collect a fishing pass from reception.
Passes are free for holiday home owners and those staying in a self-catering lodge. There is a small charge of £4 per person for our storage, seasonal guests & touring guests.
Space to run off steam at Arrow Bank
New for 2023 sees a new Arrow Bank recreation area! Challenge your friends to a game of football (there’s even goal posts too!) or just get those kites flying on a windy day. Dogs on leads please.
You can find the recreation field at the top of the touring area on the opposite side of the hedge (along from reception). Please remember no ball games or cycling on other areas of the park.
NEW Tenants at Lakeside Bar & Bistro
Welcome to Grant & Gill, new tenants at the Lakeside Bar & Bistro at Pearl Lake.
Grant has a lifetime of hospitality experience and looks forward to welcoming you.
Watch this space for more details as they take time to settle in and form their plans to build on the success of the Lakeside.
Golf Course Developments at Pearl lake
Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the course... You know what clubs to take off the tee, you know how to get out of trouble if you miss the 6th green long and left, you know the 'oh so subtle' breaks of the 9th green - and then a brand new test comes your way!
Okay, so essentially 3 of the holes remain unchanged (2, 3 and 4 (now the new 9th), and the 1st has been lengthened) that leaves 5 brand new holes to test that new swing thought or the spangly new set of clubs that you just know will take 5 shots a round off your score and make you longer off the tee.
Sure, the course has lost some length, but it has not diminished the challenge.
